What to Bring:
- Oil-based paint
- Solvents
- Tires (only collected at the St. Charles Parish location)
- Automotive batteries
- Used oil
- Antifreeze
- Household cleaning products
- Aerosol cans
- Acids/Bases
- Fluorescent tubes
- Tars
- Resins
- Adhesives
- Pesicides
- Herbicides
- Scrap metal and Major appliances
- Used electronics
- Copiers
- Printer
- Radios
- TVs and other Electronic devices
What not to Bring:
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Aluminum cans
- Plastic
- Glass
- Latex paint
- Explosives
- Ammuition
- Unidentifiable materials
- Infectious waste (medical)
- Compressed gas cylinders (including propane tanks)
- Asbestos
- Radioactive wastes (smoke alarms)
How to Dispose of Latex Paint:
- Remove the lid
- Dry out the paint using cat litter or Waste Paint - this can be purchased wherever paint is sold.
- Once dry, throw the can away in your regular garbage.
