The River Region Chamber of Commerce is largely volunteer-based. Only a combination of the Chamber staff and committed membership volunteers will ensure the Chamber is successful in accomplishing its mission.

Public Policy
The Public Policy committee works to stay abreast of legislation and emerging issues that affect business. This group will interface and collaborate with the elected leadership of our member parishes on issues that have impact on the region's business climate.
Growth & Outreach Committee
This new group has been formed to serve as the face of the Chamber for new members and businesses in the community. They will serve greeter to new members, participate in ribbon cutting ceremonies, serve at organization functions, and assist with retention efforts. They are also focused on “value”. Connecting members with business resources through our community partners, this group organizes lunch n learns and business seminars with a focus on small business sustainability.
Workforce Development Committee
Vison: To bring businesses and education/training together to ensure a higher-caliber workforce for the Tri-parish region.
- Purpose: To gain a better understanding of our community's current and future workforce needs.
- Determine current education and training opportunities and challenges related to those needs and
- Act as liaison between business and education / training organizations.
Foundation Committee
Works to identify and expand greater utilization of the Chamber's 501c3 for overall organizational sustainment.
Special Events
There are a few special events groups that provide volunteers for the following key fundraisers: Annual Crawfish Boil and Golf Tournament. We welcome any help from our members to make these experiences fun and successful.
