The July Art Show and Exhibition will display the artwork of Destrehan Highschool students as well as veterans and local artists. Destrehan Gifted and Talented Art students have provided over 200 pieces of brilliant, bright and colorful artwork which adds life to the entire venue. The young artists and Veterans Housing Outreach Ministries have created a unique collaboration. This team effort will help to bring awareness to
our homeless veterans, collect monetary donations, develop corporate sponsorships and serve as a drop off site for canned food items for our cause.

As well as displaying some excellent artwork by students, a Baton Rouge cancer survivor disabled female veteran and other local artists, the Art Show Reception which is scheduled for July 2, 2015 from 4p.m. to 6p.m. provides a chance to talk to the young talented artists at a meet and greet and gives honor to some American Veteran Heroes while enjoying free food and beverages.
